Risk Officer

ECONOMIST
The Economists continuously monitor economic, social and political developments affecting or involving the Bank’s Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs) for which they are responsible. In addition, the Economists analyse such developments and provide a continuous flow of reports, opinions and advice on the optimal allocation and use of resources (including finance and technical assistance) to address development and economic management issues from the points of view of the BMCs and the Bank.
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Public Finance, Public Policy or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience as a professional Economist.
DIVISION CHIEF, SOCIAL SECTOR DIVISION
The Division Chief, Social Sector Division (DC, SSD) integrates the capacities of a team of specialists under the SSD and provides transformative insight into the management, development, and execution of the project cycle management process for CDB-funded social sector capital and technical assistance projects, including the Basic Needs Trust Fund programme
- A postgraduate degree or equivalent in any of the social science disciplines, natural sciences, engineering, business or other relevant disciplines.
- Significant experience at a management level in national, regional or international organisations.
- Expert knowledge of development issues, policies and strategies.
RESEARCH ANALYST (ECONOMICS)
The Research Analyst (Economics) will be required to deliver timely, high-quality economic research on issues affecting the Bank’s Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs) and the global economy. He/she will engage in quantitative and qualitative economics research, statistical data and information aggregation, analysis, and economic modelling - with a strong emphasis on the forecasting of economic activity (Gross Domestic Product), debt sustainability and fiscal operations within BMCs.
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or a related field;
- Two (2) years’ relevant work experience
- A strong understanding of development issues
MANAGER, ACCOUNTING
The position of Manager, Accounting is responsible for the Accounting Unit which establishes and maintains the Bank’s accounting systems and for overseeing its accounting operations in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CPA or CGA is required. A Master’s degree in business or finance would be an asset.
- A minimum of seven years’ post qualification experience which should include experience in leading and managing a team.
