Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a Temporary Supply Chain Assistant to join our Team in Tripoli, Libya.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Warehouse Management
- Fully responsible for warehouse operation Receiving, safekeeping and dispatching goods as per DRC warehouse management policy
- Conducting physical inventory checks, monthly or regular checks as per DRC and Donor’s guidelines.
- Provide weekly warehouse stock reports and share with Supply Chain Team Leader - Logistics
- Conducting delivery follow up and coordination with other warehouse colleagues on delivery of various goods and services to different locations.
- Ensure the safe storage of received goods and services in the warehouse as per DRC SOP including keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
- Overseeing deliveries to and dispatches from DRC warehouses and affecting the necessary documentation.
Asset Management:
- Perform the physical asset check and ensure all is properly recorded and tagged.
- Set up for Laptops format factory reset or format incase needed in addition to following up with Laptop maintenance either via external vendors or Internally
- Assist the Supply chain Specialist in keeping updated suppliers list.
Procurement Support
- ٌResponsible for all the LVP procurement conducted in the supply chain department.
- Assist in Drafting RFQ packages
Fleet management:
- Updating daily vehicle movement schedule and recording of all mechanical transport as required.
- Compile regular fuel consumption reports and monthly vehicle utilization analysis.
- Ensure that daily transport is organized, and the driver is assigned based on the requests received.
- Ensure that all vehicles are in good condition and up to standard.
- Transportation from and to the airport for international employees in coordination with Safey coordinator, when needed.
Premises Management:
- Contract management and repairs maintenance at DRC premises.
About you:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience in administrative tasks, including filing systems.
- Basic IT skills, including experience.
- English proficiency
- Fluency in local language
