In support of facilitating seamless coordination with the Ministry of State Secretariat, UNDP is seeking to second a qualified individual to the Bureau of Foreign Technical Cooperation/Biro Kerja Sama Tehnik Luar Negeri (KTLN). The incumbent will play a crucial role in expediting coordination and administration processes, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project management and coordination activities, ensuring timely and successful implementation of initiatives.
 

 
Duties and Responsibilities


a.    Support the project team to ensure effective coordination, focusing on the following activities:
•    Facilitate UN/UNDP request for Government Administrative/Clearance/Surat Penugasan
•    Facilitate UN/UNDP request for Setneg’s recommendation letter/Nota DInas for further arrangement of visa and stay permit
•    Facilitate UN/UNDP request for Setneg’s recommendation letter/Nota DInas for further
arrangement of VAT exemption or restitution
•    Facilitate UN/UNDP request for import duty exemption/PP19 and import restriction and prohibition exemption (larangan dan pembatasan /LARTAS)
•    Facilitate UN/UNDP request for Setneg’s recommendation letter/Nota DInas for vehicle

registration
•    Facilitate the administrative and coordination with relevant Government units on UN/UNDP request for non- and diplomatic goods importation.
•    Support coordination in connection with transfer of equipment, and clearance to the government.

b.    Supports knowledge building and knowledge sharing focusing on achievement of the following results:
•    Participation in the trainings for the UNDP/UN staff in connection with government coordination and clearance matters. .
•    Contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.

c.    The incumbent of the position should avoid any kind of discriminatory behavior including gender discrimination and ensure that

The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.

Institutional Arrangement

Under supervision of the UNDP National Technical Specialist for Health Governance Initiative (HEART) the Project Support will be working closely with the KTLN and HEART Project at UNDP. He/She shall be responsible for effective coordination and transparent governance and management arrangements as follows: directorates at KTLN and various UN agencies to do coordination to complete the assignment.

Required Skills and Experience

 

Min.                 Academic Education

Secondary education is required.

University degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Public Policy, Communications, Business and Administration, or area related to International Development, or relevant fields will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.

Min. years of relevant Work experience

  • Minimum 4 years (with Secondary education) or 1 year (with Bachelor´s degree) of relevant experience in project activities and implementation. 


Minimum Qualifications of the Successful NPSA

Required skills
