Result of Service
UNRWA Digital Impact, Technology, and Innovation Department (DITID) is seeking an experienced Mobile Applications Development Consultant with expertise in mobile applications (iOS & Android) frameworks such as Android studio, Swift. And strong focus on technologies .NET Core, C#, MSSQL Server, Restful API’s The consultant will report to Senior Technical Lead (HQ-Amman).

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Head Software Development Section and Senior Technical Lead, and in close collaboration with the application development team, the selected Mobile applications development consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: • Design, build and maintain Android & iOS mobile applications. • Perform software development and maintenance tasks on applications to which assigned. • Perform limited analysis tasks as assigned by the supervisor for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of Agency software applications. • Resolve incidents and Service requests which received from different business units. • Assist in collecting and documenting user requirements and preparation of system and programme specifications. • Assist in preparation of user manuals and other documentation for the systems and applications to which assigned. • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/special skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • University degree from an accredited educational institution in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • At least 4 years of progressive experience as a mobile application developer with a portfolio showcasing successful projects and a strong understanding of mobile applications design and development principles. • Practical experience in mobile applications development using Android studio and swift for iOS, RESTful API’s, JSON, GitHub, REACT Native. • Strong focus on technologies .NET Core, C#, MSSQL Server, Transact-SQL. • Good command of spoken and written English. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. • Experience in modern application development platforms and databases. (50%) • Develop all newly requested changes for mobile applications. (20%) • Testing and Quality Assurance Reports: Conduct thorough testing of the mobile application to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a high level of quality and reliability. (10%) • Organize and document source code for the application, adhering to coding standards and best practices. (10%) • Deployment Package that includes all necessary files and configurations for deploying the mobile applications to a production & stage environment. The consultant will report to the Head Software Development Section and Lead Solution Architect (HQ-Amman).
