UNRWA is the United Nations agency mandated to provide assistance and protection to the over 5.6 million registered Palestine refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

Addressing protection needs is an essential dimension of UNRWA’s humanitarian and human development work, ensuring that the challenges Palestine refugees face are comprehensively addressed.

To facilitate the implementation of its protection mandate, UNRWA is looking to expand its protection teams in all five fields to focus on a range of different protection and humanitarian principles issues. Due to the scale of the deployment of protection professionals, UNRWA is now launching a roster from which the posts will be filled

The goal is to recruit 30 new Protection officers over the next 2 years.

Apply no later than 16 October.
