About the event

A Virtual Career Fair is a unique opportunity to learn from and engage with leading international organizations seeking to engage with nationals from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Get inspired during live sessions.

Hear impactful organizations share valuable insights and take the opportunity to ask questions.

Engage in 1-1 conversations.

Visit the virtual career booths to learn more about the participating organizations and their vacancies and to present yourself. You can also chat directly with HR representatives from the attending organizations.

Who should attend?

Highly qualified and purpose-driven nationals from Latin America and the Caribbean looking to pursue a career with a positive impact are currently working or seeking work in multilateral, bilateral NGOs and other leading international development organizations.

Essential criteria to join this career fair:

  • 3+ years of relevant international experience

  • A Post-graduate degree (Bachelor's considered with more work experience)

  • You must be a national from a country within the LAC region to attend this event

  • Multilingual - Good Grasp of English - fluency in Spanish/French/Portuguese is desirable.

How you can prepare

Register and submit your CV

A Career Fair by Impactpool is open to participants who meet the requirements for the specific event. To complete your registration, you need to submit your CV to Impactpool. Each application to attend is validated to ensure a good fit between attendees and the event topic to deliver a relevant event experience.

You can easily upload your CV to import your information to your profile automatically. So that you know, the organizers can see your profile and CV.

Consider what you might be interested in asking.

During the live presentations, you can ask general questions in the chat. Between the live presentations, you are encouraged to visit the virtual booths to learn more about the presenting organizations and open opportunities and interact with HR representatives in one-on-one chats. 

Prepare for the opportunity to have 1-1 chats.

This is your chance to ask about what matters most to you—career growth, company culture, relocation, or anything else on your mind. You are encouraged to prepare by viewing the available positions and take the opportunity to highlight why you believe you would be an excellent fit for the company or a specific role. Remember that this is not a formal interview; the goal is to create a meaningful, two-way conversation.  To request a 1-1 chat, click the green button in the booth, and you will be automatically connected when a representative is available. Please feel free to request to chat with multiple organizations. You'll be automatically connected when someone is available.

Good to know

  • To register, you need to have a member account on Impactpool. Sign up for free here. You can upload your CV and most details will be automatically imported to your profile. Your profile will be saved for future engagements. Once you have registered for the event, there will be a screening. If you meet the requirements, you will receive an email about the next steps and access to the event itself.

  • The event is conducted in English and is free to attend, with an approval-based registration (limited capacity)

Register
