War Child has a presence in 15 countries: Jordan, Lebanon, the occupied Palestine territory, Syria, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Colombia, Burundi, DR Congo, South Sudan, Uganda, Ukraine, Germany, Sweden and The Netherlands.
In the Middle East War Child provide children from both refugee and host communities with a vital combination of education, protection and psychosocial support. In Africa their work is designed to help children cope with the consequences of armed conflict and develop skills for a brighter future. In Central and South Asia they are engage with all areas of society to uphold children’s right to mental health. In Latin America they promote peacebuilding processes and offer children the tools to contribute to these efforts.
