Long Description Long Description OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office, UNESCO Dhaka, and direct supervision of the Head of Administration, Junior Consultant will perform the following duties:
- Support to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual fixed asset inventory reports based on the physical count and verification as per UNESCO guidelines. Assign the inventory tag which is missing.
- Prepare a list of files for the archive room/library room/AO and AA room and classify by retention, disposal, etc.
- For retained files store in clearly marked and itemized boxes. For disposal identify by type of disposal and carry out the authorized actions.
- Prepare a list of publication stocks by title, date of publication and number of stock.
- Disposal of excess library stock to relevant institutions to be researched and proposed by the consultant.
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor(s) in the interest of the Organization.
Education: Minimum Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
Language Requirements: Good knowledge of English and Bengali (Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening skills)
Technical Requirements: Basic computer knowledge especially Office applications.
