Mission and objectives
To create an environment in which men and women are able to improve their standards of living through equitable and sustainable use of resources. To facilitate the process capacity development in Afghanistan through programmatic and institutional intervention. To support the development of a strong, viable and pluralistic civil society in post-constitution Afghanistan.
Context
BRD is an Afghan charity organization working in the area of human rights, community development, social protection, environmental, climate change, protection of culture heritage and promoting good governance and accountability through civil society empowerment in Afghanistan. Under its digital transformation project BRD is working to improve PR and advocacy through social media and website to raise awareness about the work we do and engage more in media advocacy.
Task description
BRD is currently in need of the support of an Online Volunteer to help BRD in managing content posting on its social media channels. The task includes the use of the social media editorial calendar to plan and publish the approved content in BRD social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. We are aiming for possibly 3-4 posts per week. This includes regularly checking and optimising the performance of channels for wider outreach.
