Health, Safety and Security Technical Assistant Libya Misrata

The purpose of the Health, Safety and Security (HSS) Technical Assistant (TA) position is to ensure that NRC minimum operating security standards and procedures are implemented in the field office, in coordination with the HSSA Coordinator. The HSS TA will provide regular HSS related updates to NRC management and staff including field staff and drivers, as well as carry out day-to-day HSS related tasks. The HSS TA will be reporting to the HSS Coordinator.

Generic responsibilities;

1. Contribute to regular HSS risk assessments and to the implementation of mitigation measures
2. Support in the implementation of HSS measures to ensure compliance with NRC HSS plans
3. Support the training of staff in safety and security
4. Support in the monitoring of security incidents and provide regular briefings and updates
5. Ensure vehicle and staff movements are monitored according to procedures and that necessary
6. safety and security equipment are available and in good condition
