Context

The YPDO has partnered with the World Computer Exchange Inc in setting up an information communication technologies center for the youths of Chililabombwe Copperbelt -Zambia with the aim of creating jobs and business opportunities for the communities. The project shall annually accommodate over 800 youths in various ICT skills (Word processors, spreadsheets-commerce....) . The project shall add valued in skills development for our youths and creating sustainable opportunities for employment. To support the project, the World Computer Exchange Inc has offered 17 computers, printer and projector for setting up an information communication technologies in line with the UN SDG 9 of improving communication infrastructure towards creating opportunities for young people for creation of employment and having sustainable solutions for reduction of poverty in our communities. The project needs the support of the volunteer in researching potential partners for shipping the computers from Maryland USA to Chililabombwe Zambia

Task description

The Online Volunteer shall be required to conduct research on potential partners by providing full contact (physical address, details of respective focal persons of prospective partners to the YPDO. The Online Volunteer shall compile all the data in spreadsheets and communicate to the YPDO at the end of every week.The assignment is supposed to be concluded within 4 weeks. The Y.P.D.O shall provide all the required information for the volunteer on the assignment and collaborations shall be done online. The volunteer shall be provided all the necessary information to accomplish the task as well as communication shall be through emails, WhatsApp and Telegram.
