Work Location

The incumbent can be in any of UNRWA fields of operations (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria,
or West Bank)

Expected duration

• The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
• Remuneration for this consultancy will depend on the qualifications and relevant experience as follows:
o Cluster A: $1,300.
o Cluster B: $1,600.
o Cluster C: $1,800.
• The incumbent can be in any of UNRWA fields of operations (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank).

Duties and Responsibilities

● Ensure to provide Dynamics 365 Finance Service without interruption and degradation in service quality.
● Perform routine administrational and operational tasks. System configuration, security
● Support release and change management.
● Perform patching.
● Perform environment, application, and integration monitoring, identify potential issues and risks, suggest solutions and mitigation actions
● Identify and implement potential improvements.
● Develop and promote standard operating procedures.
● Conduct routine environment and application audit to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

● Perform other duties as may be required.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications:
A university degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:
● Experience in Dynamics 365 Finance administration and development experience as per the following:
o Cluster A: A minimum of 2 years of experience.
o Cluster B: A minimum of 5 years of experience.
o Cluster C: A minimum of 7 years of experience.

● Experience with the administration and management of Dynamics 365 Finance.
● SQL Server management and TSQL basics.
● SQL Server Reporting Services basics
● Knowledge in Azure DevOps
o Version Control Management (Git).
o Build and release pipeline management.

● Lifecycle services (LCS) management knowledge
● Azure knowledge would be a plus.
● RSAT knowledge would be a plus
● Agile project participation experience
● Good knowledge and sound understanding of IT fundamentals and cloud technologies

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

● Experience with Azure DevOps
● Relevant Dynamics 365 certifications
● Experience defining tests and test suites.

DESIRABLE CERTIFICATE

● Relevant industry certifications, including ITIL.

● High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision
● High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgement and maturity

Language:
● Fluency in spoken and written English.

UNRWA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC) to enhance livelihood and human development opportunities for Palestine refugees in Gaza. United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC) is a UN agency that provides IT services to other UN agencies on a cost-recovery basis.

UNRWA Information Management and Technology Department (IMTD) is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance Administrator responsible for supporting ongoing and new systems developed with Dynamics 365 Finance.


The consultant will report administratively to the Head Information Technology Service Centre at Headquarters Gaza and report technically to United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC).
