Field(s) of activity/research for the traineeship

You will provide support in matters related to Diversity and Inclusiveness (D&I), including:


• Contributing to analysis and benchmarking of best practices relevant to D&I for the space sector and other comparable organisations;


• Contributing to updating ESA’s database with information, statistics and analysis on D&I;


• Performing ad hoc policy analysis when requested;


• Supporting organisation of internal and external events and follow-up.

Education

You must be enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship. You should preferably be in your final or second to last year of a University course at master's level in a technical or scientific discipline.

 

Additional requirements

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.


Knowledge and background in the areas of STEM education, gender equality, and inclusiveness is an asset. Good command of Excel and PowerPoint is an asset. A strong motivation and interest in Diversity and Inclusiveness matters is the primary selection criterion.
