1. Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the officer position is day to day implementation of the CC Project. Use actions words such as ensure, implement or assist for the position relevant responsibilities.


Generic responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.
1. Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
2. Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to the plan of action
3. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
4. Ensure proper filing of documents
5. Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and assess new and better ways to assist
6. Promote and share ideas for technical improvement


Specific responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.


1. Provide support in all areas related to the pre-production including cost logs, production WIP, Production WPs, estimate a delivery time and a number of workers and other production-related issues.
2. Provide plans and suggestions to utilize production resources.
3. Work with the designer to break down the manufacturing cost for each product.
4. Maintain cost logs and keep an updated report of every style developed per order, per product and produce monthly production reports.
5. Identify possible problems or issues with the sampling process and facilitate the resolution of the issues.
6. Track all the production inputs and create safety stock levels for all production inputs.
7. Track the cost of components, raw materials and needed workers.
8. Generate volunteer’s payments following NRC payment structure in coordination with the site officer.
9. Check and follow up fabric and accessories status with the inventory and procurement team, which includes supplier visits, procurement committees and technical verification.
10. Knowledge of related software and tools is a plus.

By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:
- Relevant core competency implementation staff
- Support teams, Finance, HR, Admin and Logistics
- Communications staff
- Protection staff
- M&E department

Scale and scope of the position
Staff:
Incentive-Based Volunteers Grade E, D, C(6 IBVs+, and 40-60 labours).

Stakeholders:
Donors and other partners in camps level.

2. Competencies

- 2 Years of Experience
- Experience in working in the planning of production lines.
- Knowledge of production and its inputs.
- Knowledge of the local market.
