JPO OSCE Vienna NORDEM

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct and assist in thematic research, surveys and analyses.

2.Prepare policy work and background material for events and assist in organization of meetings and events.

3. Assist in preparation of written materials.

4. Provide logistic and administrative support in implementation, development and monitoring of projects.

5. Attend and provide support to various OSCE meetings.

6. Perform legal research and analysis and provide legal support for the preparation of legal opinions, studies, reports, correspondence, contracts, etc.

7. Gain insight into and participate in audit/evaluation related assignments.

8. Support the organization of events, meetings, regional workshops, round-tables and conferences.

9. Provide support to OSCE learning activities.

10. Support with developing and publish engaging content for the OSCE social media channels and the OSCE website.

Necessary qualifications:

• Completed first-level university degree in: political science, international relations, human rights, law, politico-military aspects of security, criminal justice, peace and conflict studies, educational/social sciences, public policy, business administration, human resources, economics, environmental studies, information technology, media studies or gender studies.
• Professional fluency in English
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations.
• Demonstrated open-mindedness, flexibility, high motivation and readiness to take on challenges.
• Candidates should be under the age of 30

Desirable qualifications:

• Previous work experience in a relevant field
• Knowledge of other OSCE official languages, especially Russian
