Overview of position

General Background our client is an operational arm of the United Nations, supporting the successful implementation of its partners’ peacebuilding, humanitarian and development projects around the world. Our mission is to help people build better lives and countries achieve sustainable development. our client areas of expertise cover infrastructure, procurement, project management, financial management and human resources.

The main objective of this TOR is to hire one short-term Liaison Assistant, who will support and assist the project managers and the team of the projects The Liaison assistant shall work under the supervision of our client Sana'a office to achieve the objective and the scope of the assignment. The scope is to support the project team in accordance with our client guidelines and standards. This will include but not limited to: 

Role objectives

·Provide assistance as required on Day to day liaison with Government counterparts of the project at national and support to local level and program team to facilitate all the movement and work permit .

·Assist in collecting information, data and documents relevant to specific activities and liaise with reporting and project development department in completing all

·Liaison , Asset Management Services

·Assist in liaising with government authorities, community groups, NGOs to better plan and coordinate base activities.

·Participate in attending regular meetings with the Executive Union, National Authority for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs & Disaster Response, MOPIC, MOI, Governors and other authorities as requested by area coordination in order to know the new procedures for submitting government permits ;

·Liaise and communicate with other client bases as needed;

·Assist in obtaining movement and program implementation clearances from local authorities at governorate.

·Perform other duties to support the project team as required.
