Cleaner Palestine Jerusalem (2 positions) - Part time at 50% (Nationals only)

  1. Role and responsibilities

The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning offices, meeting rooms, washrooms/WC, kitchen and other common areas. The Cleaner will provide other general support as required.

Generic responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitary measures (i.e. wearing gloves, proper use of office equipment and cleaning material to prevent exposure to risks)
  2. Clean the offices, meeting rooms, washrooms/WC, kitchen and other common areas
  3. Ensure compliance with NRC procedures and policies
  4. Ensure that washrooms are properly stocked with wash requirements
  5. Dust and polish furniture, windows, doors and equipment
  6. Empty waste paper baskets, dustbins and shredding machines
  7. Report any relevant gaps, damages and breakages to line manager
  8. Support the administration with ad hoc duties

6. إفراغ سلال النفايات الورقية وصناديق القمامة وآلات تقطيع الورق

7. الإبلاغ عن أي ثغرات وأضرار وأعطال للمدير المباشر

8. دعم الإدارة بواجبات طارئة

 

Specific responsibilities

  1. Perform cleaning functions as required: cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing of designated areas to the required standard.
  2. Emptying litterbins and removing waste to designated areas.
  3. Ensure stock of sanitary items is available and in the right place.
  4. Clean the furniture, kitchens and kitchens’ tools.
  5. Clearing up after workshops and meetings.
  6. Inform the Admin department of the needed refreshments and cleaning supplies for the office and guesthouse.
  7. Wash and clean office and guesthouse windows.
  8. Wash and ironing bedding of Jerusalem guesthouse.
  9. Report any irregularity in functioning of the kitchen or the guesthouse..
  10. Ensuring safety of NRC’s furniture and supplies.
  11. Other related duties assigned by supervisor.

Working hours: 20 hours a week (part time - 50%)
