Job Overview/Summary: The Anti-Trafficking Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of programming to eradicate human trafficking and support survivors.They conduct outreach to rural communities to increase awareness of this issue and supervise a team to carry out related programming, including providing trauma-informed support to victims of human trafficking, in accordance with donor requirements.   They also engage in technical assistance, training, and outreach to build local capacity to prevent and eradicate human trafficking within the community.

Responsibilities

·Develop outreach strategies and community mapping

·Identify training needs

·Develop trainings to be delivered within the community & identify/secure trainers

·Organize community education events

·Educate community groups, service providers, law enforcement, and vulnerable communities on the issue of human trafficking in order to increase awareness and support victims;

·Work collaboratively with a wide range of public and private partners, including community health workers, social service and legal service providers, and local law enforcement agencies to raise awareness and address human trafficking from a multi-disciplinary perspective;

·Take active role in the local coalitions and task forces, as well as any other key local and federal agency addressing human trafficking in Texas

·Manage a team conducting outreach and providing direct services to clients in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards. 

·Track clients’ progress through the program utilizing data systems to ensure all services are provided in a timely manner and properly documented;

·Adhere to all IRC policies and protocols;

·Collect and analyze data;

·Compile provider service directory and annual West Texas HT report;

·Completes all reports in a timely fashion; 

·Position involves evening and weekend work and travel.

·Other related duties as assigned

 Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree required in social work, international relations, or relevant field strongly preferred

·2 years of related professional experience

·Experience in program supervision and service delivery

·Demonstrated ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC’s core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality.Ability to lead in a way that recognizes that IRC’s work is best accomplished through the true collaboration of individuals from many cultures with a great variety of skills and perspectives.

·Fluency in written and spoken English; Bi-lingual desirable

·Cultural sensitivity/ strong cross cultural communication skills

·Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

·Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team member in a cross-cultural environment.

·Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research and problem-solving purposes.

·Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.

Working Environment:

·A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.

·May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
