In Kosovo, DRC has been operating since 1998, initially providing emergency relief and, since 2003, focusing on minority returns. Currently we work with returnees, IDPs and minority communities to promote the achievement of durable solutions and community stabilization. |
ABOUT the JOB |
Overall purpose of the role: Under the supervision of the Country Director, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, assessments, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities, including shelter activities as well as livelihoods and inter-ethnic community building activities in Kosovo in collaboration with the DRC Architect and Engineer and other project staff. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a stand-alone project with a large shelter component involving full construction (apartment buildings) as well as shelter activities (minor shelter repair of apartments in urban settings and house (re)construction) across a couple of projects implemented with funding from multiple donors.
