SCA Background

The Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) has been working in Afghanistan since 1982, presently managing development programmes concerning Health, Education, Rural Livelihoods and Community Governance, with a total annual budget of roughly USD 40 million. The total number of staff is around 5,500. During the last 10 years SCA has undertaken a change process moving from a primarily humanitarian service delivery approach towards more of a developmental role, putting increasing emphasis on capacity development, rights-based programming and outcome orientation. The mission of SCA is to empower individuals, communities and local organizations, primarily in rural areas and with particular focus on women, girls, boys and vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, so that they may participate fully in society and influence their own development. Scope of work:

The Human Resources Data Entry Assistant supports the Regional Senior HR Officer in field staff database and personal file, related documentation and giving hand to HRA in recruitment of project field staff related to Human Resources at RMO level particularly in field activities according to JD and SCA policies, procedures and requirements and to contribute in accountability and transparency of recruitments.

 Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma in IT, DBA (14 Grade). Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Business Administration/Economic will be preferred,

1-2 years’ relevant experience, especially within an NGO, UN agencies or similar organization. Data analysis and report generation experience is required,

Experience of planning and generating reports from database,

Computer skill at operator level, Especially MS Office packages with Database

Fluency in English and Dari and/or Pashto, both written and spoken

Interpersonal and communication skills

Team worker, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability and willingness to travel to TRMO-KMO and project sites with Regional office Afghanistan.

Honest, proactive, and well mannered.

Main Responsibilities:

The following main tasks is to be accomplished by the employee during the contract period:

Reporting direct to Snr. HR officer

Preparing project field staff personal files

Data entry into the HR data base,

Proper documents for project field staff personal files in hard copy as well as soft copy.

Project field staff salary reconciliation with finance and generating reports.

Keep good and constructive coordination with the related project officers and Senior HR officer with required feedback and clarifications for analysis,

Translate the local language documents into English for data entry purpose to the database, and vice versa from English to local languages as required.

Ensure the data entry/ confidentiality of the information/data in a proper way.

Tacking active participation in project field staff recruitment in the field

Attend any relevant data management or reporting trainings by SCA,

Any other official assignment by Head of unit
