Purpose and Scope of Assignment:
The position will be part of UNHCR¿s PSP Denmark team and it formally reports to the PSP Officer. The tasks of the Fundraising and Donor Care Associate (IG) will be the following:

Duties and Responsibilities
¿ Effectively contribute to the email and sms marketing programme in order to secure donor development and donor retention and maximize lifetime value;
¿ Manage the set-up and technical implementation of automated donor journeys and monitoring performance;
¿ Manage donor care activities and secure a timely response to donor inquiries;
¿ Manage CRM/Salesforce and other data management systems; securing data integration and storage, building reports, dashboards and extracting lists to support fundraising activities;
¿ Coordinate data insights and building customer segments for donor acquisition and retention;
¿ Co-ordinate and/or manage the PSP donor database ensuring that donor records are kept up-to-date;
¿ Manage payment systems and gateways, continuously securing their functionality and integration with UNHCR systems and the migration of data;
¿ Produce ongoing analysis on key metrics and help monitoring and reporting on fundraising campaign results across multiple channels;
¿ Manage administration, finance and reporting such as budget and annual planning, monthly income recording, payment of invoices and reporting to the Danish authorities;
¿ Being the team expert in the procurement of services, including hands-on execution of tender processes from A-Z, working closely with global experts;
¿ Responsible for writing, executing and updating service agreements, purchase order as well as other contractual documents;
¿ Coordinate planning and execution of events;
¿ Perform other related duties that may be required.

Monitoring and Progress Controls
¿ Contribution to securing that PSP Denmark¿s targets and objectives are reached within budgeted expenditures;
¿ Improved supporter experience, measured in the ability to retain donors as well as maximized lifetime value and return on investment;
¿ Securing reliable data management and well-structured data analyses;
¿ Updated donor database and refined donor segmentation;
¿ Timely and accurate budgeting, reporting, administration, procurement.


Essential Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience

a. Education

¿ Secondary education with preferably a degree in Marketing/Business Administration, IT-studies, Communications, or a related field.

b. Work Experience

¿ Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with secondary education or minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with Undergraduate degree (equivalent of a Bachelor¿s);
¿ Relevant work experience in a marketing/fundraising or communications unit in a not-for-profit organization, an international organization, large corporate, a marketing/fundraising consultancy firm or similar;
¿ Experience with donor/customer retention programs incl. email marketing and other channels;
¿ Experience with annual planning, budgeting, reporting and administration;
¿ Experience with database management and CRM systems;
¿ Experience with Google Analytics and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Required

¿ Fluency in English and Danish;
¿ Knowledge of key marketing/fundraising methods, including email marketing and other digital channels;
¿ Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data analysis; 
¿ Proven ability to work with CRM, administration, finance and reporting and a genuine interest in further expanding and solidifying critical business tools and systems;  
¿ Proven project management skills and high ability of being self-driven ¿ even under pressure;
¿ Good communication skills;
¿ Strong interpersonal skills as a team player and ability to manage relationships with suppliers and supporters;
¿ Attention to details, high accuracy and results oriented.

Desirable

¿ Previous experience working within UNHCR or another humanitarian organization;
¿ Experience with Salesforce. Location and Conditions
The successful candidate will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This position is up to the end of the year with possibility of extension. It is a full-time role (40 hours per week).

UNHCR is recruiting a Fundraising and Donor Care Associate (IG) in Copenhagen, Denmark. 
Established in December 1950, UNHCR is mandated to lead and coordinate international action to protect and assist refugees. In more than seven decades, UNHCR has helped more than 70 million people restart their lives. Today, UNCHR staff in more than 130 countries continue to help and protect millions of refugees, returnees, internally displaced and stateless people.
UNHCR has relocated several key functions from our Headquarters in Geneva to UN City in Copenhagen, including UNHCR¿s Private Sector Partnership Service (PSP) supporting UNHCR¿s growing engagement with the private sector in all regions of the world. This is a high priority area as we face a historic refugee crisis and finansial support and strong engagement of the general public and the private sector is more critical than ever before.
In 2018 the PSP Office covering Denmark was established. PSP Denmark is now doubling its size and is set to meet ambitious results in 2021 and beyond. One of our key priorities is to accelerate our individual giving programme, targeted at the general public to secure the support of inviduals through regular, unrestricted donations, cash appeals and legacies. The aim is to generate both monthly and one-time donations from individiuals using various channels and methods including telemarketing, digital fundraising, emergency fundraising, with focus on strong donor loyality and lifetime value.
To achieve this goal, PSP Denmark is hiring a Fundraising and Donor Care Associate (IG) who will have particular focus on retention, donor care and systems. Reporting directly to Head of Individual Giving, we are seeking a dynamic, proactive and well-structed team player who will contribute to our ambitious goals. This exciting new function offers a unique opportunity to work with fundraising, public awareness and communication as part of a growing and dynamic small Danish team that works closely with regional and global experts. He/she will contribute to the overall development and implementation of the individual giving fundraising programme and the embedding of our digital transformation in line with UNHCR¿s global strategy.
