Description of taskWithin the delegated authority and under the supervision of Procurement Specialist or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UN Volunteer Data Management Analyst will undertake the following tasks:
- Assist in updating the internal database on procurement and logistic transactions based on the information received from COs, ERP system and ongoing transactions, with the list of eligible suppliers and related information.
- Collect and organize all the procurement and logistic information and maintain updated status of online platforms for the purpose of tracking deliveries and results.
- Liaise with UNDP Country Offices to ensure timely update of tracking tools to support smooth (trouble free) delivery of required goods and services.
- Maintain updated database of suppliers and suppliers’ key performance indicators up to date (KPI) and provide regular consolidated reports enabling informed decision making and identification of sourcing strategies.
- Assist in compiling and analysis of historical data and forecasts of pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceutical health products.
- Assist in preparation of meeting/training, presentations, and other relevant materials.
- Support in Procurement plan consolidation exercises.
- Develop demand projections for health products to be shared with UNDP suppliers.
- Contribute in the development and maintaining of health procurement dashboards.
- Assist in the development of interactive and user-friendly delivery tracking tool for all Global Health Procurement Centre (GHPC) clients.
- Support the team with the optimization and maintenance of the filing system in SharePoint, smartsheet and outlook.
- Follow up with different suppliers / LTA holders on timely submission of periodic reports.
- Support production and update information products such as maps, charts, and infographics to promote the work of GHPC providing health procurement support services.
- Supports identification, data collection and implementation of sustainability practices in health procurement and communication of results among internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
Master’s Degree or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in Information Technologies, Law, Economic, International Development or other related fields, Degrees in Pharmacy, Public Health is an asset.
Required experience: 60 Months Experience remark:- 5 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in health procurement more particularly in developing countries.
- Certification on procurement (more particularly, procurement of pharmaceuticals or CIPS) is an asset.
- At least 2 years of experience with local or international NGOs.
- Experience of UN or UNDP and Global Fund (GF) procurement policies and procedures is an asset.
- English(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
