Position Overview.

Video Development Consultant is required develop 10 TV episodes for television to manage students learning loss. Under supervision of Director ICT & Service Delivery s/he will be responsible and single point of contact related to videography of lessons in classroom settings, arrange classroom for videography, and coordinate with Material Development, Teachers Training.

Responsibilities:

§Develop SOPs for teachers and students and orient before the videography

§Arrange classroom in an appropriate way suitable for TV episodes.

§Create an initial proposed storyboard draft for the videos to present and seek approvals from the material development team at the stage of pre-production (script and shoot plans to be presented for approval), production (first cut and subtitles must be submitted for approval).

§Capture video footage in a classroom setting

§Responsible for editing of the video and adding background music and narration.

§Prepare draft videos and submit for review and for final feedback

§Finalize the videos as according to the feedback provided by the project team.

§Make sure that the recording is accurate and based on TV broadcasting format and quality.

§Improve video and sound quality using various video software.

§Edit video to include pre selected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project.

§Ensure branding of finalized videos according to USAID requirements.

Deliverable

·Capture video footage of 10 TV episode

·Provide first draft of the video footage for review and feedback

·Incorporate the feedback and provide 2nd draft

·Deliver final product
