Organizational Setting As the pandemic evolves, there is an urgent need to understand how the virus and the associated mitigation measures affect agriculture stakeholders. The Food and Agriculture Organization is developing a monitoring and surveillance system to track the impact of COVID-19 on the agriculture sector and food supply chain of Iraq. The findings will be fed into a bi-monthly assessment, inform FAO programming and contribute to the agriculture-focused section of the Humanitarian Needs Overview. FAO is working closely with WFP, IFAD and WB and the Government of Iraq in this initiative Reporting Lines enterprise The National Field Enumerator will work under the supervision of the FAO Representative with support from the FAO Senior Resilience Advisor, and under the daily technical guidance of the International Programme Specialist and National Senior Data Management and M&E Specialist in Erbil. Technical Focus The National Field Enumerator will be assigned to the Erbil sub-office team and will be responsible for administering remote questionnaires and key informant interviews according to established protocols. He/she will follow the standard operating procedures designed by the data collection team, but will provide regular updates and recommendations to managers and fellow staff to streamline the process.
