Our Ideal Candidate will be part of the Rural Assistance and Recovery Team (RAR) and will focus on Agricultural Inclusion and Agribusiness Development programming. The RAR Officer will support the Livelihoods Coordinator in building partnerships; leading analytical activities; program monitoring and reporting; and assist the Livelihoods PDM in further developing RAR programming in Jordan.

Duties and responsibilities

Specific responsibilities
- Gather and report marketplace information to livelihoods staff and programming participants.
- Support analytical activities including community assessments, household livelihood assessments, and seasonal planting calendars.
- Lead all field reporting activities and ensure the Livelihoods Coordinator is briefed on all relevant information.
- Revision of manuals and tools based on lessons learned during the implementation of livelihoods programming.
- Assist in the design and translation of all relevant program documentation.
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with partners and program stakeholders.
- Manage beneficiary information relevant to rural livelihood activities.
- Ensure programming targets are being met and all field activites align with NRC standards.

Generic responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
- Implement delegated Core Competency project portfolio according to plan of action.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
- Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.
- Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.

Qualifications
Qualification requirement: College/diploma degree or equivalent
Years of Experience: 3
- Strong Analytical and Information Management experience. with high level proficiency in Excel.
- Background in working in Agriculture and/or Livelihood programming in Jordan, preferably in Mafraq.
- Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
- Fluency in Arabic (Verbal and Written) Required.
- Ability to self-manage and operate in a shifting and flexible environment.

We can offer
Contract period: Through to 31 December 2019 (Renewal based on funding and performance)
Salary/benefits: 1024 JOD (subject to social security and Income tax)
Duty station: Mafraq
