Advanced University degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Agriculture, or other fields relevant to international development assistance and nutrition, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.

To provide support to nutrition programmes and activities to contribute to meeting the nutritional needs of WFP beneficiaries. SO#2, Activity#4
- Lead and coordinate the development of WFP Laos’ nutrition strategy through managing research and evidence-building activities, as well as coordinating with relevant government counterparts and other partners.
- Research and analyse a range of policy and operational issues to inform the development of policies, programmes and activities.
- Lead the development of nutrition projects, plans and processes, ensuring alignment with wider programme and nutrition policies and guidance.
- Supervise the management of specific and defined nutrition programmes and projects of considerable size and/or complexity, ensuring a coordinated approach with wider programmes that complies with WFP standards and procedures.
- Track and analyse data to contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely reporting on nutrition activities that enables informed decision making and consistency of information presented to stakeholders.

- At least five (5) years or more of postgraduate progressively responsible professional experience implementing programme strategies in humanitarian, transition and development contexts, with a focus on nutrition, and translating them into implementation modalities and operations.

- Has extensive experience taking leadership in implementing programmes.
- Has provided input into policy discussions and decisions.
