Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct market assessments, data collection and monitoring the program activities.
• Facilitating the activities & trainings in the training centers, (Life skills , financial management , Agricultural sessions ) And any updates on training topics.
• Assist in Identify and secure vocational and agricultural training providers, training sites, and local businesses that could provide apprenticeship opportunities.
• Link between the financial management training and SME documents (Grant applications and Business Plans) and support the SME team in reviewing and receiving the SME documents.
• Assist the training officer in following up training to ensure that the service providers (Vocational trainees) are delivering quality trainings.
• Assist the Livelihoods training officer in preparing and designing training curricula.
• Provide inputs to security monitoring and assessments to enable and promote a safe and secure environment for program implementation.
• Create linkages with other IRC programming in Women Protection and Empowerment, Health and Protection as well as with other actors delivering curriculum
• Assist the Livelihoods training officer in identifying partners.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• University Degree in Economy, Agricultural engineering, Public or Business Administration or equivalent and an academic degree in other fields alongside relevant experience in this field.
• 1-2 years of experience in education, vocational training or agriculture studies, skills development, employment or life skills projects.
• Demonstrated experience and capacity in facilitation or training.
• Previous experience in working with NGOs is preferable.
• Strong ability to work independently, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.
• Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
• Fluency in Arabic required.
