Job Overview/Summary:

The M&E data entry clerk is expected to make sure that the data of all the CYPD activities are accurate, organized and stored on an easy and accessible way. The numeric and nonnumeric data are ready to be reported on the designated reporting dates. M&E data entry clerk will work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for dataentry.
  • Check source documents foraccuracy.
  • Verify data and correct data wherenecessary.
  • Obtain further information for incompletedocuments.
  • Update data and delete unnecessaryfiles.
  • Store completed documents in designatedlocations.
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevantfiles.
  • Print information whenrequired.
  • Fill and update the Child Protection numeric database (the Google sheet) with the daily data received from thefield.
  • Scanning, naming, grouping documents into the M&E database (the share drive) on dailybasis.
  • Basic dataanalysis.
  • Transcribe information into required electronicformat.
  • Having occasional visits to thefield.
  • Reviewing and checking up upon the uploaded attendance into the tablets by the IRC staff.
  • Arrange and create the weekly training attendees list andgroups.
  • Update and synchronize the Google sheet in thetablets.
  • Prepare the earned salary payment on weeklybasis.
  • Comply with data integrity and securitypolicies.
  • Additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

 Education: BA or diploma in computer science or any other related program,

 Work Experience: previous clerical and data entry experience will be an advantage Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

·Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MSOffice.

·Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the requiredspeed.

·Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

·Knowledge of clerical and administrativeprocedures.

·Planning andorganizing.

·Information collection andmanagement.

·Problemsolving.

·Attention todetail.

·Decision makingskills.

·Communicationskills.

·Confidentiality.

·Ability to work underpressure.

Language Skills: fluency in Arabic and very good English language.

Certificates or Licenses: formal computer training is an advantage
