ENTITLEMENTS PACKAGE
  • Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP of JOD540 (equivalent of 14% of the daily subsistence allowance).
  • WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, necessary visas and related costs.
  • WFP will recognize candidates’ educational credentials from recognised institutions that have been certified by competent international or national authorities such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) or Ministries of Education;
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

The World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill an internship position under the WFP Human Resources unit(Organizational Alignment team). The position will be based in Amman, Jordan. The Internship will be for an initial period of (3) months.

JOB PURPOSE

The intern will provide administrative and logistics support in the recruitment and selection process which includes but not limited to:

  1.  Communicating with the candidates for a test;
  2.  Booking venues for the test;
  3.  Arranging necessary supplies to conduct the test;
  4.  Supervising the test;
  5.  Inviting candidates for an interview;
  6.  Preparing meeting rooms for the interview;
  7.  Perform other duties as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled and have attended University courses in the last 12 months inclusive of having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or have recently graduated in the last 6 months. Candidates enrolled in the discipline of Human Resources Management will be given preference.
  • Have completed at least two years’ undergraduate studies when joining WFP as interns
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and computer.
  • Fluent in English.
