Resource Mobilization Assistant The International Potato Center (CIP) seeks a Resource Mobilization Assistant to provide analytical and administrative support to the daily business operations of the unit and the organization as a whole. About the role:
• The Resource Mobilization Assistant will be based in HQ and he/she will report to the Resource Mobilization Specialist.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage and track internal communications with internal stakeholders as required • Collect and analyze date to ensure that information in all relevant RM databases and reporting matrices is updated and correct
• Oversee internal audit compliance with CIP RMU processes and procedures.
• Provide backstopping support to other RM staff as required
• Assist in the preparation of talking points, meeting bios and other information required to brief the Resource Mobilization Director (RMD).
• Assistinthepreparationofreportsforhighlevelinternalreportingrequirements,includingBoard documentation.
• Provide support to the RMU and CIP administrative processes and functions, as assigned by the RMD, such as attendance to RMU meetings
• Act as PNM assistant, collecting documentation, participating in PNM meetings, drafting PNM minutes and following up as required with PIs and other colleagues/units concerned • Conduct, under the guidance of RMU colleagues, opportunity eligibility reviews and vetting of potential partners.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Business, International Development or related studies.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Analytical thinking, communication and customer service skills
• Advanced level in written and oral English.
