ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

Construction of the last remaining HRF in Muzaffarbad, AJK is planned to start this year. Currently the design phase is in progress, to be followed by the tendering process starting from July. After the award of construction contract, the actual construction works will start with a total planned duration of 12 month.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
  • Assist in maintenance of the office files, documents and records in accordance with established systems and processes, so that information is current and readily available.
  • Assist in preparing basic plans ,drawings and scope of work for construction works, supervise construction activities if required.
  • Assist in preparing the basic cost estimate for construction projects.
  • Assist in tendering process
  • Site visit to construction projects if required.
  • Assist in overseeing the execution of the works
  • Inform construction manager to any technical or quality issues related to construction activties at site.
  • Assist in close monitoring of  the construction progress if it is proceeding in accordance with the approved work programme.
  • Assit in reviewing all required supporting documents if  valid, duly signed and attached to the bills/invoices.
  • Assist to notify immediately the concerned of discrepancies (if any) in the invoices and suggest for corrections accordingly•      Update payment tracks every month and report to supervisor.
  • Assist to maintain the office records both hard and soft copies for construction related project files.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Diploma or preferably graduation in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Related Field

Experience: Previous experience in related field is highly preferred.
