How can you make a difference? 

You will be joining a team of around 3000 staff in the Lebanon Field Office working to foster the human development of registered Palestine refugees.••

The •main responsibilities include:

•• Design and assists in the coordination of the Shelter Rehabilitation Unit by:

•      •••Establishing requirements of initial site surveys of shelters/plots in conjunction with the site engineers;

•            Preparing tender and construction drawings, bills of quantities/materials, specifications and cost estimates

•            Liaising with the site engineers regarding points arising during construction.

• Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Conditions of service•

Limited Duration Contract (LDC- Band E)

Monthly basic salary L.L 2,213,910 – 3,918,200 depending on the professional knowledge and experience.

Other benefits include compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave pre-rated to the duration of the contract where less than one year, and family allowance (if applicable).

To qualify for this position, you will need:

University degree/diploma in architecture

Work

experience

Seven years' post graduate professional experience, five years of which should have been office experience in•• design including basic housing development projects, and acting out.

Language(s)

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in computer assisted design. Possession of valid driving license.
