Your team

Within the Directorate Central Route Charges Office, Finance and central IT, the Finance and Procurement Unit is responsible for managing the Agency processes and services related to finance and procurement in a timely, effective and transparent manner, with appropriate consultation with key Agency stakeholders, Agency Business Directorates and Human Resources Services.

Your role

You will perform the following tasks under the responsibility of your superior:



  • To contribute to the drafting of legal texts/contractual agreements/working papers, and ensure compliance of documents with existing rules, regulations and/or agreements;

  • To participate to the review of administrative, legal or contractual agreements/texts and to associated consultations meetings and/or negotiations;

  • To support experts with the processing of the service’s matters and assist in providing advice to managers in their own area of responsibility;

  • To deal with the processing of administrative and/or contractual matters and handle specific or individual (staff) files;

  • To participate in identifying service improvements (i.e. new or revised procedures, practises etc.) and assess the consequences of changes;

  • To develop working templates and repositories in their own area of responsibility;

  • To contribute to projects and working groups as and when required;

  • To perform any other tasks in line with the main purpose of the job.

Required qualifications, experience & competencies



  • Post-secondary education in Law attested by a diploma (i.e. bachelor degree)




  • In addition to the above, minimum 2 years of relevant working experience. Experience in one of the following domains/environments would be considered an asset: management of legal agreements; public procurement; law firm; legal/administrative department of an international organisation.




  • Experience in drafting advice, reports and presentations

  • The languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular position, excellent knowledge of one of these languages and good knowledge of the other is required.

  • At the closing date of the notice of competition, internal candidates must have completed their probationary period.

  • The selected candidate will be offered a contract of 3 Year(s) pursuant to the provisions of the Conditions of Employment of Contract Staff at EUROCONTROL. The contract may be renewed. Before being established in the post, he/she will be required to provide certified copies of his/her degrees and successfully serve a probationary period of 9 months.

  • The successful candidate shall be appointed in principle at the basic grade of the advertised grades.

  • In case of reserve list: Suitable candidates, however not selected to fill the post, will be placed on a reserve list for similar functions. The period of validity of reserve list is 1 year from the approval of the selection board’s recommendations.
