Organizational Setting
The post is typically located in FAO Representation for Angola in Luanda.
Reporting Lines
Under the general supervision of the FAO Representative in Angola and direct supervision of the Assistant FAO Representative (Administration), the Junior Administrative Assistant will work as the focal point for matters related with recruitment of staff in the Department of Administration. More specifically the incumbent will carry out the following tasks
Tasks and responsibilities
• Start the recruitment procedures of the Representation or Projects, according to the vacancy announcements and requests for the issuance of duly approved contracts, ensuring that FAO Staff recruitment procedures are complied with in conformity with the needs of the Representation;
• Maintain the communication with the Human resources area in Budapest for the recruitment of international consultants when required.
• Prepare services contracts / PSA and NPP with the locally recruited Project staff based on the terms and conditions authorized and specified by the supervisors or other units of FAO, with the exception of international contracts.
• Issue the timecards for national consultants holders of contracts of the type PSA/ COF
• Maintain the file of the Personnel organized and updated;
• Support the staff who do not have computers and not only, in the resolution of administrative matters if required, be they staff, non-staff or from the Government,

Minimum Requirements
• University degree in relevant in administrative
• 1 year of relevant experience in the field of Administration
• Working knowledge of English and Portuguese
• National of Angola

• Fluency in Portuguese language
