The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water,sanitation and hygiene sectors.



The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs




The Norwegian Refugee Council and Kiron Open Higher Education are launching a blended certificate program free of charge for refugees that offers English courses, Life Skills and Business and Economics courses.

The Program will run for 3 months

Start on July till September 2019

We want you to:

  • Facilitate the online learning experience for the students
  • Guide students throughout the MOOCs
  • Prepare an introduction of every day’s MOOCs subject
  • Explain unclear Business and Economics concepts
  • Help in language and terminologies

You should have:

  • BS in Business, Economics or related field, with English as language of instructions
  • Experience in tutoring
  • Preferably with experience in online learning
  • High level of English

You will teach 6 hours per week (2h per day for 3 days a week)

 Prior experience with refugees or vulnerable communities is a plus
