OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

To provide a variety of administrative work for the assigned projects\: coordinating, monitoring the efficient daily running of project/programme activities.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Emergency Coordinator and direct supervision of Technical Officer-Information Management incumbent will be responsible of\:The incumbent will perform the following duties\: Registers and maintains updated data information on different projects database programmes through WHO database systems Enter various health and technical data into available databases; compilation, sorting and verification to ensure accuracy of data. Identification of data entry discrepancies by through comparing data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors in data files and inform the supervisor to enable timely corrections. Timely storage of data from the focal points, head of programs, respective parties or agencies. Establish and maintain of filing system appropriate for each technical project or programme.Track the workflow and monitor the progress of work and deadlines for programme documents and follow up with the partners to ensure timely and accuracy of reporting. Keep a repository of all the documents, technical papers and reports relevant to the programme/project. Responsible for all incoming correspondence and requests; compilation of background information and submission to the staff concerned; draw their attention to specific issues/problems as necessary, follow up with respective staff on timely reply to correspondence and queries. Analyse the data and share the results with relevant technical officer Update and maintain information databases, such as mailing lists, document tracking systems and reporting systems on the status and completion of technical projects and programmes. Train the health cluster partners on various mobile data collection process implemented in Iraq

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential\: Completion of secondary school education supplemented by training in Data analysis.
Desirable\: University degree or diploma on data management and or IT from an accredited institute.

Experience

Essential\: At least 5 years of relevant practical experiences in database processing
Desirable\: Work experience with UN organizations / agencies or international institutions

Skills

- Good knowledge of WHO rules, manuals, practices/procedures and routines.- Good filing and organizational skills.- Good analytical skills, multitasking and adaptability to challenging situations- Ability to translate routine correspondence.- Producing and delivering quality results in pressing situations and conflicting priorities.- Skills in organizing training programs in data collection and preliminary data processing- Keen attention to details, especially regarding data accuracy

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at USD 23,684 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
