PROJECT BUDGETING AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a proactive and experienced Project Budgeting & Compliance(PBC)Manager.Thisposition isaccountablefortheoversight,managementofbudgetsand financial compliance of CIPprojects globally. The position: The PBC Manager position will be based on Lima, Peru ensuring the financial and budgeting compliance of projects in accordance with donor, CIP and CGIAR guidelines, procedures and requirements. The position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Key responsibilities:

• Monitorfunding trends andmanage capacity for the functional area to ensure compliance and delivery of financial services to the projects.

• Lead all the financial aspects of CIPs projects, including preparation of proposal budgets, set- up of projects in OCS, preparation and submission of all invoices, financial reports to donors, timely corrections to the general ledger, and maintenance of agreement master files. • Work with the project team to ensure that all donor related information is disseminated to project and, therefore, abide by donor rules and regulations.

• Maintain appropriate relations with donors and make reports as necessary, ensuring compliance with any terms or conditions agreements.

• Develop policies and procedures related to projects accounting and projects financial management, as well as to contribute to those related to grants and contracts management. • Identify and implement training plans focused on review and understanding donor’s rules and regulations.

• Monitors compliance in the projects, including project audit reports and general financial and contracts issues related to projects.

• Supervise staff in charge, contribute to their performance evaluations and identify succession planning and development.

• Comply with applicable health and safety CIP policies and procedures. What are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business administration with 5 years of experience or bachelor’s degree in related field with more than 7 years of relevant work experience in project-based organizations.

• Strongprofessional experience inaccountingpreferably inanon-profit environment and inthe application of IFRS.

• Experience working with Pre- and post-award grants administration and standard contract clauses.

• Proven experience working with donors such as USAID, GIZ, EU will be an asset. • Understanding of USAID ADS Chapter 303 and 308 Awards to Public International Organizations, as well as the FAR.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and Power BI reports.

• Experience in Accounting software packages (Preferably ABW).
