About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for Community Support Workers to join our team in Dundee who will work in partnership with service users and under the supervision of senior staff to fulfil service users agreed personal plans.

Under these plans you will enable service users to maintain or develop independence skills and maintain appropriate housing or prepare for appropriate housing in the community. 

Whilst fulfilling this function, the Community Support Worker must give consideration to the health, safety and security of individuals and their environment at all times.



About the person
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, candidates should have:
  • Experience of working with people who have personal care and support needs
  • A knowledge of community care resources
  • An understanding of Risk Assessment
  • Experience of participating in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Experience of delivering high quality services to the public
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of finding information through the internet and other sources
  • Knowledge of services provided by the NHS and Social Care
