The Data Management Assistant will be based in Maseru, under the supervision of RAM Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Digital survey tools: Assist in developing simple digital tools for quick monitoring surveys.
- Dashboard design: Support the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards to visualize monitoring data, trends, and milestones.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with the M&E team to ensure dashboards meet programme needs and are user-friendly.
- Data visualization: Develop graphs, charts, and maps to enhance data interpretation and decision-making.
- Trend analysis: Use dashboards to identify and communicate progress, gaps, and trends in programme implementation.
- Documentation: Document dashboard functionalities and prepare user guides for staff and stakeholders.
- Capacity support: Provide basic training and support to staff on using dashboards effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Completion of high school education. A university degree in information technology, Software Development or related field is desirable but not required.
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant work experience in data management, visualization, or IT support.
- Language: Fluency in English (oral and written). Knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Dashboard tools: Experience with dashboard and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
- Data management: Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools, with ability to integrate multiple data sources.
- Communication: Ability to explain data insights clearly to non-technical team members.
- Problem-solving: Practical approach to troubleshooting and improving dashboard usability.
