JOB SUMMARY
Our client, a pan-African faith-based organization, is looking to recruit a Program Officer will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of programs under Pillar 1 (Evangelism & Discipleship) and Pillar 2 (Christian Leadership & Household Transformation) of the 2025–2035 Strategy.

Working closely with Pillar Managers, the role will facilitate mission outreach, discipleship, peacebuilding, and leadership and livelihoods training (including F4, WTL, 3D, and SwE programs). The Program Officer will supervise volunteer trainers and facilitators, and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEL), and impact reporting.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Program Delivery: Plan and execute field-level evangelism, discipleship, peacebuilding, and gender justice activities; facilitate training workshops using approved content.
Leadership & Household Transformation: Coordinate F4, WTL, and 3D programs, Savings with Education(SwE) groups, entrepreneurship and financial management training, and youth innovation initiatives.
Volunteer Management: Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of field based volunteer trainers and facilitators.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning: Collect activity data and transformation
stories, support surveys and assessments, and ensure timely, quality reporting against strategic and donor indicators.
Communications & Impact Reporting: Document success stories, photos, and videos for newsletters, social media, and donor reports.
Risk, Ethics & Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding, theological integrity, and inclusion principles in all community engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Community Development, Theology, or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in program coordination, training, facilitation, or community development; multi-country programming experience is an added advantage.
Experience in discipleship, evangelism, or Christian leadership programming is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work in conflict-affected or resource-constrained environments.
Strong understanding of gender justice, peacebuilding, and livelihood development approaches.
Competence in digital tools, data collection apps, and multimedia storytelling is an asset.
Strong Christian faith and alignment with a biblical worldview approach.
