Duties and Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the consultant will undertake following duties: - Provide functional advice in piloting new ASYCUDA digital platform. - Documenting Roll-out procedures for the risk modules. - Preparation of training plans of the risk modules of the risk division officers. - Developing scenarios for testing interaction with external data and systems. - Testing Communication links. - Provide regular inputs to project status reports and updates.
Qualifications/special skills
A first university degree, Bachelor, degree in Customs, business administration, law, economics or related area is required. At least 7 years of work experience in trade, investment or customs sector, is required. Work experience of work in customs administration, revenue authority or trade support institution, or international organization would be an advantage. Combination of IT and Customs experience would be a strong advantage.
Languages
Fluency written and oral in English is required. Knowledge of Russian and local languages of the CIS region would be an advantage.
