The Scope
Are you highly organised, detail‑oriented, and motivated to support marketing efforts that drive global sustainability? FSC is seeking a proactive Marketing and Commercial Coordinator to support the Senior Director Markets (SDM) and the Marketing and Commercial Unit, a team central to strengthening FSC’s global brand, market credibility, and strategic outreach.

In this role, you will go beyond administrative support, serving as a key coordination partner across projects, contracts, budgets, events, and executive tasks. You will help ensure operational excellence and smooth collaboration across international markets.

Working closely with the Senior Director Markets and programme teams, including Brand Marketing, Business Marketing, Trademark Management, Value Chain Development, Ecosystem Services Market Solutions, Innovation & Commercial Solutions, and Customer Care, you will enable structured planning, efficient workflows, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
Marketing & Commercial Unit Coordination
  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
  • Play a key role for the coordination between Unit programmes which includes team
  • alignment and problem solving (bringing solutions to gain operational efficiencies) when needs arise.
  • Support programme planning, documentation, and tracking of key initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize tools for planning, documentation, and tracking of key initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize structured systems for contracts, databases, and key records.
Executive & Operational Support
  • Provide coordination and executive support to the Senior Director Markets.
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and expense claims.
  • Prepare documentation, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Act as an internal consultant to help colleagues within the Unit comply with financial,
  • procurement and legal procedures.
  • When need arises, liaising with different departments such legal, procurement, finance, amongst others.
Budget & Financial Administration
  • Support budget tracking and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Maintain and optimize budget tracking tools.
  • Liaise with Finance and programme managers as required.
  • Support invoice management and credit card administration.
  • Support with budget planning for following calendar year. Maintain and optimize tools for this purpose.
Events & Project Support
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Support contract preparation and correspondence.
  • Assist in staff development coordination and training logistics.
Your profile
  • Relevant professional office management training or a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of experience in coordination of various teams, executive support, or
    administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence handling financial tracking and documentation.
  • Fluency in English; basic German required. Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong MS Office skills; experience with database platforms is an advantage.
  • A proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset.

The Fine Print
  • Location: Bonn, Germany.
  • Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
  • Starting Date: As soon as possible.
