JOB PURPOSE
To support the Communication and Corporate Marketing team by creating high-quality graphic design and video content that strengthens ICD's brand and visual identity. This role covers all aspects of visual communication including designing graphics, illustrations, presentations, publications, and producing professional videos and motion graphics. The position uses modern creative tools, including AI-powered platforms, to deliver compelling content across all channels (digital and print) that effectively communicates ICD's mission and engages stakeholders.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Brand Governance & Visual Identity Management
• Manage and monitor the use of ICD brand across the entire organization, partners and sponsors. Ensure all departments respect the brand purpose and guidelines throughout every communication
• Follow all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Brand & Visual Identity Management
• Champion ICD's brand guidelines across all organizational touchpoints, ensuring consistency and excellence in every visual communication
• Develop and maintain visual design standards for both digital and print materials
• Create and evolve brand assets including logos, templates, style guides, and visual systems
• Monitor and ensure brand compliance across all departments, partners, and sponsored materials
• Innovate and refresh visual elements while maintaining brand integrity
Graphic Design & Creative Development
• Design compelling marketing collateral including brochures, reports, newsletters, infographics, presentations, and advertising materials
• Create engaging social media graphics optimized for various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
• Design professional PowerPoint presentations, internal communications, and corporate documents
• Develop illustrations, icons, and custom graphics that enhance storytelling
• Design website graphics, banners, and digital assets that drive engagement
• Produce print-ready files and coordinate with vendors for high-quality output
Video Production & Content Creation
• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit professional video content for multiple platforms and purposes
• Produce corporate videos, promotional content, event coverage, testimonials, and educational videos
• Create motion graphics, animations, and kinetic typography to enhance video storytelling
• Edit and post-produce video content including color grading, sound design, and effects
• Optimize video content for various channels (YouTube, social media, website, internal platforms)
• Manage video projects from pre-production through final delivery
• Capture high-quality photography for corporate use and marketing materials
AI-Powered Design & Innovation
• Leverage generative AI tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion) to accelerate ideation and create unique visual concepts
• Utilize AI-powered editing tools for enhanced workflow efficiency and creative exploration
• Implement AI video tools for automated editing, captioning, and content optimization
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies in design and video production
• Integrate AI-generated elements ethically and strategically into creative work
• Experiment with AI tools to push creative boundaries while maintaining brand authenticity
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Content Collaboration & Editorial Support
• Collaborate with departments to understand content needs and translate complex information into visual formats
• Provide editing and copywriting services across ICD, including drafting and editing text intended for external audiences
• Ensure all content aligns with ICD's voice, tone, and messaging strategy
• Transform technical or data-heavy content into accessible, engaging visual stories
Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Content and Design Management
• Provide content design services, in collaboration with the concerned departments and divisions including internal newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, graphics etc.
• Create and design ICD collaterals and advertising materials which do not require high tech equipment (non-advertising agency work)
• Liaise with the concerned department/divisions to determine their requirements and develop content, graphics or illustrations accordingly ensuring high quality results
• Provide editing and copywriting services across ICD, in collaboration with the concerned departments and/or other stakeholders including drafting and editing text intended for external/internal audiences
• Coordinate with relevant 3rd parties, such as creative agencies, content design agencies, event organizers and other vendors for marketing media selected (print, visual etc.) to ensure the smooth delivery of the requirements
Customer Excellence
• Ensure the timely delivery of design requirements at the highest possible standards to achieve customer satisfaction and delight
• Deal sensitively and confidentially with all customer complaints and customer excellence-related issues whether internal or external
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications / Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design and video production
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and video work (mandatory for application)
Technical Skills
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Video editing and post-production skills
• Motion graphics and basic animation capabilities
• Understanding of video production process (shooting, lighting, sound)
• Knowledge of social media platforms and content optimization
Language Skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken) – REQUIRED
