Overview
This consultancy aims to support the MCGL Jordan Activity by facilitating a structured study tour for Jordanian Ministry of Health officials, health care managers, and providers in Egypt. The consultant will organize and coordinate all activities related to the tour, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the Jordanian delegates and the Egyptian Ministry of Health at both central and governorate levels.
Successful candidate must be based in Egypt.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Egyptian Ministry of Health to schedule and organize meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Facilitate communication and ensure all necessary materials and information are exchanged between Jordanian and Egyptian officials prior to and during the study tour.
- Escort and assist the Jordanian delegates throughout the duration of their visit to ensure smooth execution of the tour agenda.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the tour activities, addressing any challenges or changes in real-time.
Deliverables:
- A detailed itinerary of the study tour, including schedules for all meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Regular progress updates during the tour, detailing the outcomes of each day's activities and any relevant issues encountered.
- A final report summarizing the key insights, best practices observed, and recommendations for integrating the learned strategies into Jordan's family planning programs.
- Documentation of all communications and agreements made between the Jordanian and Egyptian MOH officials.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor with significant experience in public health and family planning.
- Proven track record of working with the Egyptian Ministry of Health at central and governorate levels.
- Experience in organizing and managing high-level official tours and health development programs.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder interactions.
- Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.
