The WFP, Country Office Afghanistan based in Kabul is looking to collaborate with service providers who can provide services in support of the operation and maintenance of the WFPowned fleet trucks and workshops for effective implementation of WFP ongoing and future projects within the country. In this sense, Country Office Afghanistan is looking for qualified service providers capable of providing manpower services (drivers, mechanics and other categories of manpower as specified in this RFP) for operating the WFP-owned Fleet trucks as well as WFP vehicle workshops as per the terms of reference detailed in this document. Service providers must have the capacity to deploy staff of the various group functions to any location in Afghanistan where WFP has representation and operational needs across Afghanistan. WFP Afghanistan owns and operates a fleet of over 200 heavy cargo trucks plus machinery, water tankers, mobile workshops, and light vehicles. In addition to what was mentioned above, WFP Afghanistan in all area offices provides maintenance for its own as well as its partners’ trucks, light vehicles, machinery, and water tankers.
• Perform basic maintenance of outdoor/indoor environments, to keep them clean, wellorganized and in good condition.
• Provide support in loading/offloading and moving office equipment, furniture, baggage, and other items for efficient site maintenance services.
• Support preparation and delivery of food and beverages, arrange for basic refurbishment and maintenance of kitchen area and equipment to facilitate efficient service.
• Provide laundry services including basic maintenance of related equipment, to ensure that WFP office and guesthouse items are clean.
• Provide efficient cleaning services including kitchens and toilets to ensure a clean, hygienic, and well-organized working environment.
