Job Overview : We are looking for an experience Project Manager who will take charge of the SkillsPath project, a noteworthy social innovation initiative designed to enhance employability and provide skill development opportunities for young refugee and migrant NEETs aged 18-29. Collaborate with international partners, coordinate planning and implementation, and integrate project takeaways into sustainable frameworks in Greece. This position offers an outstanding chance to work in a dynamic environment, lead exceptional initiatives, and deliver outstanding results.
Major Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
Project Management and Coordination
•**Project Leadership:** Coordinate the daily operations, timelines, deliverables, and budget of the SkillsPath project, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
•**Project Strategy:** Implement the project’s work plan and monitoring framework, coordinating project activities, setting achievements, and ensuring alignment with goals related to employability, skills development, and access to green economy jobs.
•**Meetings & Coordination:** Coordinate and lead project coordination meetings, including Youth Advisory Board (YAB) meetings, to review progress, address challenges, and share knowledge.
Collaborator Engagement and Communication
•**Collaborator Networking:** Engage important collaborators in the local community, such as employment service providers, educational institutions, local government, and private sector partners, to foster effective collaborations.
•**Awareness Building:** Lead all aspects of awareness-raising activities and workshops aimed at employment services, training providers, and employers. The objective is to boost their knowledge and drive to adopt project models in their work.
•**Communications:** Ensure regular project updates and disseminate learnings through newsletters, success stories, and social media in collaboration with communication teams.
Capacity Building and Training
•**Employment Readiness:** Coordinate skills development workshops for youth, including job readiness, soft skills, and green economy-focused training opportunities.
•Lead the development of educational materials and guidelines aimed at improving the capacity of professionals working with young refugees.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Evaluation
•**Impact Monitoring:** Track project progress, outcomes, and deliverables, including assessing the impact of AI-powered tools on youth skills assessment and employment outcomes.
•**Risk Management:** Implement mitigation strategies to address project risks and challenges, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
•**Documentation & Reporting:** Prepare progress, impact, and final reports for internal use and submission to donors, highlighting key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Coordination & Representation
•**Internal Coordination:** Attend IRC meetings to align SkillsPath activities with IRC’s broader goals and share project progress.
•**Public Representation:** Represent IRC and SkillsPath in external meetings, conferences, and workshops to promote the project’s approach to youth skills activation.
Other
•**Other duties as assigned by the Senior Livelihoods Manager to enable and develop IRC programs.
Job Requirements :
•**MA/S or equivalent in human rights, education, social sciences or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
•**At least three years of experience implementing integration/economic empowerment programming. Experience working with refugee youth is a plus.
•**Strong training and technical assistance skills and significant experience leading participatory trainings, capacity building and mentoring of professionals or local partners.
•**Strong technical capacity in employability and skills development for youth and understanding of the needs of the target population.
•**Good computer skills in programs such as: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•**Personal qualities:** Great teammate, adaptable, diplomatic, relationship-builder, strong negotiation skills, awareness of gender and cultural differences, and able to handle pressure effectively.
•**Proficiency in Greek and English;
•**Experience in EU funded projects and consortiums are desirable assets.
