CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO: 

Estos puestos han de cubrirse en los almacenes del PMA. Los titulares del puesto rinden cuentas al Asistente de Logística encargado de la supervisión de bodegas. Los titulares del puesto intervienen en todas las fases de las operaciones de almacén y trabajan con un nivel mínimo de supervisión. También se espera que puedan supervisar e impartir capacitación en el empleo a otros empleados del almacén.

FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO:

Ocuparse de la recepción/despacho de productos para aumentar al máximo la calidad de las operaciones de almacén y mitigar las pérdidas, y apoyar las mejores prácticas de gestión de almacenes de conformidad con las normas y las directrices establecidas por el PMA en la materia.

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES (lista indicativa y no exhaustiva):

Recibir/despachar productos con eficacia, incluido el transbordo (de camión a camión), teniendo presente la documentación oficial aprobada (p. ej., cartas de porte y/o notas de entrega) y garantizando la precisión del recuento físico de los productos y la calidad de estos, de conformidad con las normas establecidas. Preparar, verificar y firmar los documentos de almacén y transporte, y mantener ficheros confidenciales y registros exactos de las transacciones de almacén para poder dar cuenta inmediatamente de los movimientos de productos de conformidad con los requisitos institucionales. Llevar a cabo diariamente la conciliación de cierre del almacén y controles precisos de las existencias en apoyo de los sistemas de control interno, de conformidad con los requisitos de gestión del almacén. Realizar inspecciones diarias y preparar informes sobre la cantidad y calidad de los productos recibidos/despachados y manipulados, detectar con prontitud las discrepancias/daños en las existencias y analizar las razones, investigar el motivo de la cantidad faltante y elaborar informes sobre las pérdidas de almacén en los que se recomienden soluciones apropiadas, para poder tomar decisiones informadas. Aplicar medidas apropiadas para salvaguardar los productos alimenticios y no alimentarios, con el fin de garantizar el control de calidad utilizando medidas preventivas estándar de conformidad con los procedimientos del PMA establecidos y la autorización recibida del supervisor. Vigilar el estado del almacén y de los productos y tomar medidas adecuadas para sostener una planificación eficiente del espacio y un almacenamiento bien organizado, aplicando las normas del PMA en la materia. Supervisar, proporcionar orientación y capacitación en el empleo al personal de almacén, para contribuir a su desarrollo profesional y buen desempeño.

EXPERIENCIA DESEABLE PARA DESEMPEÑAR ESTA FUNCIÓN:

  • 4 años de experiencia en el uso de bases de datos de logística para extraer informes periódicos.
  • 4 años de experiencia en la gestión de almacenes de productos alimenticios y no alimentarios.
  • 4 años de experiencia en la gestión de inventarios.
  • 4 años de experiencia en la tramitación de facturas.

CUALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA ESTÁNDAR MÍNIMAS:

Formación:

Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Se valorará la presentación de un certificado de educación postsecundaria en la esfera funcional correspondiente.

Idiomas:

  • Dominio hablado y escrito del idioma español
  • Deseable: Conocimiento básico del idioma inglés
