Senior Associate - AC & Refrigeration

ICRISAT seeks applications from dynamic and innovative professionals for the position of “Senior Associate - AC & Refrigeration” to support Farm and Engineering Services under the Global Research Program CORPORATE SERVICES.  The position will be based in ICRISAT, India.  The incumbent will report directly to Associate Manager-Electronics and Instrumentation.

ICRISAT is a non-profit, non-political organization that conducts agricultural research for development in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa with a wide array of partners throughout the world. Responsibilities:

• Operation, Maintenance, Repairs of Central AC system having Centrifugal Chillers and Vapour Absorption Chiller machine

• Capable of understanding and analysing problems of all types of AC & refrigeration systems, Lab equipment, etc.

• Implementation of PPM on Central AC system, Split AC, Cassette AC, VRV, VRF systems, Window A/C, Vehicle AC, Lab Equipment, Incubators, Compressors, Dehumidifier, Humidifier, ETAC system etc.

• To carry out jobs as per the daily work schedule and report the progress to supervisor.

• Ensure timely & quality delivery of various works of the Unit. (maintenance, Repairs).

• Ensure the work schedules attended and revert feedback to unit supervisor.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines & protocols.

• Should maintain good rapport with inter-disciplinary teams in multi-cultural environment

Required skills:

• Should have experience in installation, maintenance and repairs of Deep Freezers, Walk in Cold rooms, Split/Window/VRV air-conditioners.

• Basic knowledge in MS office.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience is required.

• Essential SSC with ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration and AC.

• Should be willing to stay in campus.

• Preferred to have a valid RTA driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).

• Experience in process industry is preferable.

General:

This is a contractual position for a period of 36 months.
