Among other attributes, the ideal candidates will have:
•A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience inediting/translation/interpretation or related field is required;
•Experience with language-specific software and terminology databases is required;
•Experience with documentation and work monitoring systems is desirable;
•Experience in managing a programme of work and maintaining relations with otherlanguage services to coordinate programmatic, substantive and managerial aspects is desirable;
•Experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a widerange of both internal and external clients, including freelance and in-house languageprofessionals, and government representatives, is desirable;
•Proven track record of leadership in multicultural settings, including management andcoordination of teams of both international and local staff, is desirable;
•Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in language studies(editing/translation/interpretation) or related field is required.
