Our team and mission
This position is based at the ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) - Frascati, Italy
The ESA Brand Outreach Office is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, deployment and global coordination of the ESA Brand through the appropriate outreach vehicles. As such it ensures proper coordination within the Communication Department for the implementation and compliance of the ESA Brand and its related corporate messaging and narrative. In particular, it is in charge of the ESA Brand’s deployment through ESA merchandising activities and ESA communication partnerships.

Field(s) of activity for the internship
Topic of the internship: Development of promotional graphic, video, animations 2D&3D for ESA Merchandising
Reporting directly to the Head of the ESA Brand Outreach Office of the ESA Communication Department, you will support the Graphic activities of the office. You will, in particular, focus your efforts on supporting the development of a whole new range of promoting aspects for ESA merchandising.
As such, you will develop adequate graphics, in particular short promotional videos and animation in 2D and/or 3D starting from the development of the storyboard, up to the deployment of the final products (videos, animations, graphics) on the different ESA communication channels (ESA Web and Intranet, ESA Social Media channels, Internal screens, etc.).
Within this context, you will have to liaise with the concerned services to ensure correct ESA branding compliance and adequate on-line communication supporting such new product development.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a university course at Master’s level and you need to remain enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
Knowledge and background in 2D and 3D visualisations is an asset.
